When the call begins, your Mic and Video (camera) will be muted, but you will be able to see and hear us.
You can turn your Mic and camera on if you would like, at any time. The controls are at the bottom of the screen on either side of the red “hang up” button. You will see these as you move your cursor across the screen. If there is a line through them, they are off. Clicking will turn them on, or off again as you wish. We can also control them at our end.

You can also select which Mic or camera to use, if you have more than one. You will see a small down arrow at the Mic and Video buttons. Click that arrow and you will get a menu that allows you to choose the device you want. You may have to experiment if a device shows up in the menu more than once. When you move your cursor over the list you will see “Test” boxes come up. If you click that, you should hear a ring. If not, choose another one from the list

You will also see three small dots at the bottom right of the screen, as you move your cursor. Clicking this will give you More Actions you can take, such as viewing full screen, adjusting settings, and more. 

To the left of the three dots you will see a block of squares. Clicking this changes to view from “Tile” which shows everyone at once, to “Speaker” which shows the person speaking in the main screen, and everyone else along the right edge in small frames. 

At the bottom left of the screen you will see three icons. If you click the box on the left it will allow you to share your screen. The hand icon allows you to “raise your hand” so that we will see that you need a response. Clicking the box on the right opens the chat window.
